The 28-year-old played all three outfield positions but profiles better in a corner, which works just fine for a team with Mike Trout in center field. Goodwin looks like a perfectly serviceable short-term option who won’t kill the team for the time being.With Justin Upton out for the foreseeable future, it looks like some combination of Goodwin, Peter Bourjos and David Fletcher will handle the duties in left field.
