Eagles Injury Report: Philadelphia Eagles Hoodie , Alshon Jeffery sits out The Philadelphia Eagles released their second official injury report on Thursday in advance of their Week 4 game against the Tennessee Titans. The good news is that Jay Ajayi returned to practice. He was a full participant, which bodes well for his playing chances this week. After practice, Ajayi told reporters he’s going to play on Sunday. That’s great to hear. Ajayi also expounded on the nature of his back injury.Alshon Jeffery did NOT practice at all after being full go on Wednesday. It doesn’t appear to be a setback, though, because Jeffery is merely listed with an “illness” designation. I wouldn’t say I’m 100% confident he’ll play against the Titans but I’d guess he will.Darren Sproles is still not practicing. It seems unlikely that he’ll play this week. Maybe he’ll be back for Week 5.Rodney McLeod missed practice. He’s reportedly out for the season after having surgery on an MCL tear. The team has yet to confirm the news on McLeod’s status. McLeod’s absence means we should see more of Corey Graham and Deiondre’ Hall this week. Corey Clement and Jordan Matthews were limited participants in Thursday’s practice after being full participants on Wednesday. Clement was first listed on the injury report with a quad issue last Friday. Seems like that’s a nagging issue for him. As for Matthews, the Eagles really need him to be healthy because if both him and Jeffery can’t play they’d be down to just Nelson Agholor and Kamar Aiken at receiver.Michael Bennett returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out with an illness on Wednesday. Nothing too significant.Titans kicker Ryan Succop returned to practice after sitting out on Wednesday. Backup linebacker Kamalei Correa was upgraded from limited to full. The one positive you can take away from the offense is that, even behind a slacking offensive line, No. 11 couldn’t be playing a whole lot better than he already is. If the rest of the unit can get its act together www.eaglesfootballauthentics.com , well, it’d probably go a long way in helping his production equate to wins.Maybe we’ve been underestimating the value of Corey Clement and Darren Sproles in the backfield? Perhaps their absence has played a hand in what’s probably the even bigger concern, which is the fact that ...Coaching is a problem right now. How can it not be? Wentz is doing all he can, and on occasion, so, too, are guys like Zach Ertz and Alshon Jeffery and Fletcher Cox and Malcolm Jenkins. But what’s up with the play-calling and/or the preparation the last couple weeks? Others have already pointed this out Philadelphia Eagles T-Shirt , and Wentz himself alluded to it after the game, but these last few Eagles games have felt a lot like the 2016 version of the team — one that mostly fought to the end and made games close but too often killed itself with penalties, unreliable offense, blown coverage and occasional “rookie” decisions from the sidelines. The best thing Eagles fans have going for them on Monday morning, aside from Wentz’s dependability and the fact Philly will have a shot at a rebound in just a few days? The NFC East standings. Look around, and there’s still plenty of time for the Birds to figure it out.
